Privacy policy
The short version: TableHop does its work on your computer. It does not collect, store on a server, sell or share the tables you export, the pages you visit or your browsing history. If you buy TableHop Pro, our payment provider handles your email address and payment, only to process and verify the purchase.
Who we are
TableHop is published by Kage Lab, a business name of Cory Christian (ABN 80 695 802 826), Sydney NSW, Australia ("we", "us"). Contact: support@kagelab.app.
What the extension does with web pages
TableHop reads a web page only when you click its toolbar icon or keyboard shortcut on that page. It then finds the tables on that page and, when you ask, copies them to your clipboard or saves a file to your computer. When you use a Pro capture (for example "All pages"), TableHop clicks the page's own Next button or scrolls the page, in your browser, at your request.
This all happens inside your browser. Table contents, page addresses and page content are never sent to us or anyone else. TableHop contains no analytics, tracking, advertising or remotely hosted code.
Information stored on your computer
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your settings (CSV separator, file name pattern, cleaning options) | Your browser's extension storage. If you use browser sync, your browser may sync it to your own account. | So TableHop remembers your choices. |
| Pro status, free Pro tries left, number of exports (a count only) | Your browser's local extension storage | To unlock Pro and to ask once for a rating after a few exports. |
| Rows you add to a "collection" | Your browser's temporary session storage; cleared when the browser closes or you click Clear | To build one export from several pages. |
Removing the extension deletes this information from your browser.
Purchases (TableHop Pro)
Payments are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. When you buy Pro or restore a purchase, you enter your email address and payment details on their pages, not in TableHop. We receive your email address, the plan you bought and payment status, so that we can unlock Pro, send receipts and answer support requests. We never see or store your full card number.
To check whether you have Pro, the extension contacts ExtensionPay using an anonymous identifier created for your installation. This is the only network connection TableHop makes.
Emails you send us
If you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you, for as long as needed to resolve it and meet our record-keeping obligations.
The website
kagelab.app is a static website. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the payment providers above to process purchases, or where required by law. Information about you may be stored and processed outside Australia (for example by ExtensionPay and Stripe in the United States).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you (for buyers, this is your email address and purchase record), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email support@kagelab.app. We aim to reply within 30 days. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and where they apply, the EU/UK GDPR. If you're unhappy with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local data-protection authority.
Children
TableHop is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
TableHop's use of information received from browser APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose – exporting tables you choose – and is not transferred, sold or used for advertising, credit-worthiness or any unrelated purpose.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in the extension's release notes.
